Imagine if you were to come home one day to find that your house had been robbed and someone had stolen all of your valuables.  How would you feel?  What would you do?  I think most of us would feel a range of emotions, but I think what we would feel most of all is anger.  We would not just sit back with a nonchalant attitude as if nothing happened.  Our anger would cause us to go into combat mode – we would want to fight to get back what was rightfully ours and we would have an increased awareness of where we had let ourselves be vulnerable for the robbery.  Even though we would react this way if our home was robbed, most of us are being robbed every single day by Satan and just sit back and let him do as he pleases.  We don’t get angry when he robs us of our joy, our peace, our confidence, our hope, our faith…the list goes on and on.  We let him come in and take whatever he wants and we just watch it happen.   We act as if he has the right to steal what Jesus died to give us.  Guess what?  He doesn’t!  He absolutely does not have the right to steal anything that God has given us!  It’s time that we get angry about the thief that is sneaking in our lives every day and plundering us.  It’s time that we take back what is rightfully ours as children of the King.  It’s time that we stage an ambush and send him back to the pits of hell where he belongs.  Do not live one more day as his victim!  You are a child of the most high God and no one, and I mean no one, has the right to take what your Father has given you! Fight for what is rightfully yours!

“The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy…” John 10:1o
