I Vote for the Lamb

Posted on: 7-15-112012

Tomorrow, our country will either re-elect its current president or elect a new one.  It seems as if that is all people are thinking about right now. It’s the hot topic on the news, the topic of most conversations you hear, and all over Twitter and Facebook.  There is hot debate over which candidate to choose.  Taxes, the economy, gas prices, healthcare, the military, the deficit, the budget…the list of factors to consider goes on and on. This is a major decision…a decision that will have a profound effect on our country and its future.  Many people are very worried and concerned over the future of our country and rightly so.  As I have read through Facebook over the past couple of days, there are a couple of messages that I want to share:

It doesn’t matter who is elected President of the United States, Jesus will still be the King of kings.

Some will choose the Elephant, some will choose the Donkey, but I will choose the Lamb!

As long as Jesus is the Lamb of God and is seated at the right hand of the Father, we have nothing to fear! No matter who is elected tomorrow, God will still be on the throne and He will still ultimately be in control.  We may not know the outcome of the election yet, but He’s known it since before time began.  He will not be surprised!  He will not be shocked!  He will not be worried!  He will still be God and He will still be able to handle anything that happens!
