No Worries

Posted on: 7-15-112011

Recently, I have had something weighing heavily on my heart. I had two choices to make: I could worry, fret, and imagine every possible bad scenario my mind could conjure up or I could trust God to take care of it. Now, I wish I could tell you that I only did the second option, but that would be a lie. Worrying tends to be my default mode when difficulties arise. However, I was determined that I was not going to allow this situation become bigger than my God. So, each time I caught myself worrying, I immediately started telling the situation I was fretting over exactly how big my God was and how He could take care of the problem much better than I could so I was just going to leave it in His hands. Even when our difficulties seem like mountains to us, we have to remember that they’re only like a little bump in the road to
God. He can handle anything and everything…if we give Him the opportunity to do so!

“Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to His stature?” Matthew 6:27
